In order to develop new material recycling technologies for various kinds of mixed plastic waste, we kneaded molten extruded material with sintered resin pellets into the molten poly (ethylene) (LDPE) matrix and studied the influence of particle diameters on the mechanical properties of the kneaded extruded materials. Both large (1.5-3.0mmφ) and small (0.3-1.2mmφ) poly (styrene) (PS), nylon-6 (PA-6) and ABS were used as a virgin resin pellet. The value of tensile stress of the PA-6/LDPE knead resin became much higher when the small pellets were mixed with the compatibilizer (ADMER) . All the knead resins that used small pellets became progressively greater than large ones in terms of bend strength and drop impact. In addition, the influence of phase mixing by using other resin particle diameters when kneading extruded material was defined by the thermal behavior of dynamic viscoelasticity.
