A Cocker Spaniel showing mild depression, abdominal distention and dyschesia underwent computed tomography (CT), and primary pancreatic tumor was suspected. The tumor was located at the tip of the left lobe, which was surgically removed. Pathological examination of the mass revealed well-differenciated adenocarcinoma derived from exocrine pancreas. The patient was in good health after surgery but suddenly died on the 106th day from unknown cause. Pancreatic tumor originated from the exocrine gland has no specific clinical signs and reliable parameters in blood chemistry. CT was quite useful as an imaging modality for the diagnosis and prognosis of this disease.
