Morbidity of diarrhea in Japanese Black calves under 90 days of age was investigated in correlation with the climate and weather. Of 4, 493 calves born within a year 3, 003 had diarrhea. In May and October the morbidities were 28.6% and 30.5%, respectively, being higher than in other months, while lowest the incidence was (20.3%) in July. The severe diarrhea was observed in summer. The morbidity was highest (26.6%) in those under 10 days of age, showing an average therapy frequency of 3.0±2.4 times, which was significantly more as compared to those of advanced age.-
