• Two <I>Oplegnathus</I> juveniles were found among shoals of juveniles attached to the floating patches of seaweeds migrating to Oshima waters in 1969 to 1970.Under investigation of their morphological characteristics, they are presumed to be hybrids between <I>O.fasciatus</I> and <I>O.punctatus</I>, both of which are common in waters of central Japan.
