The interaction of two swirl-type micro-bubble generators of the same size is experimentally studied. The generators are placed face-to-face with opposite swirling flow direction to strengthen the generating mechanism of micro bubbles (bubbles smaller than 651m), i.e., the relative swirl-shearing force. As the distance between two generators is varied, many photographs of bubbles are taken. The number of bubbles and their diameters are measured by an image processing. As a result, it is found that the interaction between the swirling jets emerging from the generators strongly affects generation of micro bubbles. A largest number of micro bubbles are generated when the distance between two generators is a little smaller than the exit diameter of the each bubble generator.
