We reviewed 3 7 knees with Kinematic anterioly joined type or posterior cruciate retention type total knee arthroplasty in 2 5 rheumatoid patients who were over 60 years of age. Using the rheumatoid arthritic knee rating score of J.O.A., the clinical results were evaluated and the results of patients in their seventies and sixties were compared.<BR>The average total scores of both were almost equally increased after arthroplasty. Postoperatively the pain score was improved in patients in their seventies more remarkably than in those in their sixties. An increase in the score of quadriceps muscle strength and climbing stairs ability was less in the older group.
