A calibration method for monochromatic radiation thermometer utilizing tungsten strip lamp and blackbody at copper point suffers from a variety of error factors in its calibrating process.Serious factors among them are uncertainties of central wavelength in interference filter and of optical coefficients of the radiation thermometer, and environmental disturbance to stability of the lamp.Analysis of error factors and evaluation of measurement showed overall accracy of better than 8K at a temperature lower than 3500°C.
