Generally speaking, pressure control means to maintain pressure at measuring point within desired limits. But it is sometimes requested to hold remote pressure constant at desired value. For instance, in supply line of town gas it is desired that the pressure at supply source is adjusted with gas flow rate, that is, the setting point of pressure controller is raised at peak flow and droped at lower flow.<BR>But this automatic adjustment of setting point in pressure control by flow rate is apparently positive feedback and the system will become unstable.<BR>In this report, the conditions for stability were analyzed and practically the difficulty was solved by adding restriction and capacity in flow measuring line.
