The ranges of the dew point measured by the aspiration wet and dry bulb hygrometer or dewcel are considered to be different according to the temperture of gas. But, by suitable cooling or heating, the dew point is obtained down to a tolerably low value regardless of gas temperature and as its resulk, the measurable range is extended.<BR>When gas temperature is kept at 7.6°C, the dew point can be measured down to -22°C at the lowest by the aspiration wet and dry bulb hygrometer.
