Following the report (I) where the method of analysis by use of an analogue computer and an outline of results were described, the more specialized discussion of results and the conclusions are described in this report (II).The major conclusions are as follow:(1) In the case of continuous control, the gain of 0.2 mN/sec°C, the derivative time of 50 sec are considered as optimum, and in the case of discontinuous control, the gain of 1 mN/sec, the derivative time of 50 sec.(2) The power can be stably changed with a flow change rate of 10%/min, two times of the rated value.(3) The continuous control is better than the discontinuous one so far as the behavior at a steady state is concerned, but no difference is found in both cases, as to the transient behavior, and effects on fuel element temperature if the optimized controller constants are adopted.
