Dynamic behaviour of water content in plants was investigated in connection with humidity control.<BR>Computer control of humidity by detecting water content in plants was carried out, using cucumber and sunflower. For constant control of water content in plants, humidity was controlled by PID algorithm. For transient control to newly desired value of water content in plants, humidity was controlled by DP (Dynamic Programming) method. Response curves in these different controls could be explainned by examination of modelling-simulation procedure. It was concluded that such a modelling-simulation procedure as presented in this paper was one of the most effective approaches to explain the dynamic behaviour of water content in plants in both total feedback system and each element of the sub-system in connection with humidity control.
