In order to know how the toxicity of granular formulation of pesticides may be varied due to defferent suspension methods, toxicity tests of the granular formulation of 9 pesticides on tadpole were carried out under defferent time of the suspension method and the ultrasonic treatment method for preparation. LC-50 values were compared for evaluation of the toxicity.<BR>LC-50 values of pyrachlofos, propaphos and butachlor remarkably varied due to defferent time for suspension and ultrasonic treatment. Therefore, it was concluded that it was necessary to maintain the solusion at least for one hour or 24 h for better result, if possible, in case of the suspension method, and to make ultrasonic treatment of the solusion at least for one min or 5 min for better result, if possible, in case of the ultrasonic treatment method in order to obtain the stable LC-50 value for granular formulation.
