Dermatological examination were made on Japanese male workers, 19 to 66 years old, who had been exposed to 2, 4-dinitrochloro benzene(DNCB)inprocesses manufacturing photographic sensitive substances in a chemical factory.Twenty cases with contact dermatitis due to DNCB were found.Twenty-eight applicants of chemial workers were patch tested with European Standard Series and DNCB0.1% in aceton.In twelve cases(42.9%), DNCB gave positive reactions.However, in two patients with irritated dermatitis due to DNCB and with yellowish pigmentation on both his hands, DNCB gave negative reactions.
