The total number of configurations in real polymer chains under influence of so-called steric hindrances are given here by using the lattice chain model. When number of the constituent bonds is a few, they are expressed byΩ(N; 3AI)=1.743[3.791N-(-0.791)N] etc., while, if it is many, accurate expression cannot be obtained by our method.
