Design and Operation of Automatic Temperature Control Systems of Vinyl-Chloride Auto-Claves

On the manufacturing process of Vinyl-Chloride, the temperature control of auto-claves is very important, but extremely difficult thing. As a result of various studies on it, therefore, the writers first adopted a cascade control system to it, having made it possible to maintain the desired accuracy of control in dealing with huge lagging time. Then, having further developed their study, tried to make simple and easy the starting operation of auto-claves. Thus, an instrument for estimating the coming transformation of auto-clave temperature was attached to the controller. The instrument operated satisfactorily enough to achieve its first purpose and consequently the perfect automatic running of auto-claves by one button handling has become available. As this principle is believed to have a farther vast sphere of application, the writers are going on with its study. Given in this paper is only the rough description on their course of study up to the present time.
