• Rotary tillage, mowing and herbicides spraying were compared to enhance reseeding of sub clover for silage corn production.As results, these cultivation techniques showed good effects on weed control in silage corn culture, and a large number of sub clover seedlings was emerged enough to cover the field in following spring after corn harvest.All fields were reestablished well in the autumn. However the weight of weeds DM at the field where tilled by rotary before the corn planting was smaller than those in no tilled fields from corn growing season to following spring.Sub clover still reestablished well when the fields were either tilled by rotary or no tilled at all. The cultivation techniques of either mowing and contact herbicide spraying before the corn planting were effective to prevent the growth of weeds in corn production, and these treatments did not show negative effect on reseeding of sub clover.
