• The authors made the fuel consumption meter mounted on a tractor for field experiments.The following results were obtained from the serial experiments.1) Fuel temperature hardly effected on reading scales of the meter.2) Liquid level of the meter hardly effected on measuring quantity of fuel comsumption.3) When fuel consumption was measured without adding fuel in the midst of experiments, maximum measurable time and area were estimated 50 minutes and 17ares in plowing, 120 minutes and 200ares in fertilizing.4) When fuel consumption was measured in rotary plowing, minimum measurable area was 0.2 ares.
