Three dimentional imaging for medical purpose using computer graphics has been developed with the rapid advance in electronic techology. From a set of parallel transverse CT slices, we obtained three dimensional images of pancreases of 14 patients by image processing system using VAX 11/780. With the result this paper describes recent reserch tends and several problems awaiting solution in three dimensional imaging.
