We assumed that moments supported by kraftliners (KLs) for the double wall corrugated fiberboard (DWCF) and the sum of axial forces for KLs was zero. And conventional methods (3 types) of the elastic analysis were studied for DWCF made of KLs and semichemical corrugating mediums (CMs) under the uniform bending in the moment axis perpendicular to the machine direction (MD). Then the adaptation of their methods was discussed, and relationships between maximum stresses of absolute values and increases of thickness T<SUB>k1</SUB> and elastic modulus E<SUB>k1</SUB> for upper surface KL (KL<SUB>1</SUB>) were considered.<BR>Bending stresses for KLs obtained from methods of different establishment conditions agree each with reasonable values, but CMs do not agree exactly. Stresses satisfied the deformation condition of MD displacements and bending inclines for CMs are the most suitable values. Stress values of CMs in all methods decrease with increases of T<SUB>k1</SUB> and E<SUB>k1</SUB>
