The behavior of reinforced soil walls with different geogrids using three types of facing was compared with the changes of facing deformation, strains of reinforcement, subgrade reactions after completion of walls. One was constructed using L-shaped block facing, another using wrapping facing with geogrids twelve years ago, and another wall using concrete block facing seven years ago. Many pieces of geotextiles were cut off from reinforcements in the soil, and front of wrapping facing, and the changes of their tensile characteristics and durability was evaluated through tensile tests. This paper, Part 2 shows will describe the tensile properties and durability of geogrids, the reinforcing material.
