The utilisation of plant biomass, even biological rests and residues, for basic chemicals and natural raw materials, will be a future task for industrial and a chance for developing countries in becoming a supplier for those materials. Each country has it's own natural potentials, referring the availability of biological ground materials, auxiliary supplies and energy, especially solar energy. But the base must be the manufacturing technology, to receive chemicals and raw materials from biomass in an economical and ecological way.4, 8, 9 So far, theoretical possibilities in utilisation of plant biomass are given. The necessity is to set a connection between receivable chemicals and raw materials and final technical products and consumable, to attract the industry and thus to initiate an increasing use of those natural raw materials and chemicals. Because the manufacturing industry can act like a propulsion to apply in general more and more natural raw materials and consequently to deliver indirect a contribution to the improvement and development in e.g. conversion technologies as well as the cultivation of conventional and special plant for at least industrial applications. The principle routes of plant biomass conversion shall be shown referring the products and their possible applications to demonstrate the potentials in using plant biomass.4 The tracks can be opened by applying different physical, chemical and biotechnological processes simultaneous one to each other or step by step to utilise the plant biomass more completely or eventually in future absolutely.
