This report discussed the survey among working patients on maintenance hemodialysis and their preferences for foods, particularly for hemodialytic diets in hospital.The results were as follows:1) Working patients on maintenance hemodialysis preferred Japanese foods, and they regarded between-meal snacks as a significant source of energy.2) Hemodialytic patients hardly left foods when served the hemodialytic diet in hospital and seemed to be well satisfied in respect of both nutrition and preference. They seemed to have been encouraged in following the dietary therapy.
