Temperature fluctuations in canopy-soil layers have important effects on the heat and mass flows in the layers. In this study, the air and soil temperature fluctuations in rubber tree canopy-soil layers which have been measured for more than one year at 30 minute intervals are analyzed using harmonic and spectrum analysis. The results show that the fluctuations of temperature in/above the canopy-soil layers present clear characteristics of apparent changes with height and wave length.
