In this study, the focusing schleren system was designed to visualize the flow field around the double wedge airfoil model in the test section of the shock tube. The focusing schlieren system was developed by Weinstein. It is perpendicular to the test beam path of the optical system and can be used to examine three-dimensional flow field in the wind tunnel testing. As a first step, we made the measurement gauge for the investigation of characteristics of this system, location of image plane and depth of focus. And we understood the depth of focus in the present test section of shock tube system. Also, the visualization of shock tube airfoil flow was performed by this system to investigate the three-dimensional airfoil flow.
