The present algorithm aims to shorten computation time to analyze velocity vectors by means of parallel processing. To analyze velocity vector in PIV, comparatively simple calculation must be, repeated many times. Improvement of computation speed is expected by making them parallel processes. In this paper, the concept of multithread will be explained and algorithm to analyze velocity vector applied multithread method will be proposed. Computation time became half compared with singlethread program by using multithread method on dual processors. Even on single processor, it saved 40% computation time.
