The educational system of College of Technology in Japan is based on the premise that they teach fundamental and professional ideas, and moreover, cultivate technical expertes with a practical engineering sense three years earlier than Technical University. Therefore, it is deeply orientated toward engineering education.<BR>The system of the integrated practice was introduced as one educational method for stimulating engineers eleven years ago in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Toyota College of Technology.<BR>The purpose of the system is the fostering of creativity through experiences of manufacturing machine products.<BR>The students have been very excited about it, especially seeing the results of the work.<BR>The details on the introduction of the integrated practice system and its effect are explained with the merits of this system being emphasized in this report.
