We present a case of a 42-year-old woman with traumatic dislocation of the tibialis posterior tendon without bone injury. Her Foot was everted due to a fall from a chair. The diagnosis was comfirmed by the observation of a palpable longitudinal structure overlying the medial malleolus, tenography and computerized tomography.During the operation, it was found that the flexor retinaculum was not torn, but partially peeled from the medial malleolus, and that the tendon was lying between the peeled retinaculum and malleolus. We performed a sliding bone graft on the medial malleolus, similar to the DuVries method. Five months after the operation, the patient was walking without pain or recurrence.
