A case of a giant cystic lesion in a proximal area of the leg of a 35 year old man is presented. The size of this tumor was the size of a fist. This tumor didn't lead to the knee joint capsule on Arthrography.MRI demonstrated a cystic lesion which showed uniformity.Bursitis, synovitis, hematoma, synovial hemangioma, synovial sarcoma, ganglion, parameniscal cyst and pigmented villonodullar synovitis were considered.He was unsuccessfully treated with injected steroids and anesthetic.Therefore we treated him with excision of the tumor.Pathologically of chronic bursitis was diagnosed.
