A collection of birds from Andes Patagonia

In March 1958, twenty-two species of birds were collected on the lower slope of Mt.Arenales (3, 439m; Lat. 47°12'S, Long. 73°30'W), Aysen Province, Chile, by "The Expedición Chileo Japonesa Andes Patagónicos 1958". This is the first collection made by Japanese from Andes Patagonia.The main collectiong stations are as under:(1) Station ALower edge of Arenales Glacier (250 m). March 5-15, 1958.(2) Station BGrassland along Baker River (150 m.) March 25, 1958.The annotated list of whole twenty-two species is given.
