A study on relations between sawing force and feeding force in band sawing

In this report are studied with the same methods as the ones of the former report.Air-dried woods of SUGI (size: h×200×600mm, h: sawing width) are ripped with such conditions as the kinds of feeding forces and sawing widths are showed in Fig. 1.In the experiment are measured the work done and the consumed time by an indicating wattmeter, and from these measured results are introduced the sawing force and the specific sawing resistance.The relations among these feeding force, cutting depth, sawing force and specific sawing resistance are investigated.The results are showed in Fig. 1-Fig. 6.
