Evaporated aluminium replicas of the surfaces of the water-proof papers coated by a synthetic latex, which was made by copolymerizing vinyliden chloride and the others, were shown. The slight declination of the brightness of the coated surface caused by the multiple coating by this latex is due to the wave-like structure which arised, from this multiple coating. This surface structure will be mainly due to the hydrophobility of the previously coated surface.
