The author attempted to make a stem volume table for Sugi stand basedon the D. B. H. and the upper diameter. 1) The original data for this work are the measured values for 914 trees obtainedfrom 151 Sugi stands in Kuma-cho, Ehime prefecture. 2) The volume equation employed: V=Â+_??_(D7.2-_??_7.2)+_??_(D7.2-_??_7.2)2 Constant values are as follows: Â1=-3.88411354+2.53897798 log D1.2 (for 8 to 29cm) Â2=-3.501668+2.277855 log D1.2 (for 30 to 60cm) _??_=-4.07394773+1.94195139 log D1.2 _??_=-0.000093852 D1.2-0.0000005284 D1.22 3) The author prepared a stem volume table by substituting these constant values intothe equation shown above (Table 5). 4) This table has the useful function as a supplemental table for "Tarif" publishedby the author a few years ago.
