Eosinophil count in human blood was studied at Spa Kusazu.1) No significant difference was proved between the eosinophil counts in the thermal cure patients with "bathing dermatitis" and in the healthy control persons who stay at Kusazu.2) After a thermal bath at 46°C a more marked decrease in the eosinophil counts was shown in the patients with bathing dermatitis than in the healthy controls.3) To prove the adrenal cortical function Thorn's test was carried out in the patients and in the healthy controls but without significant difference.4) Changes of eosinophil counts were studied in the healthy subjects following the thermal bath at 44°C and also following the plain water bath at the same water temperature. But no significant difference was proved.5) As compared with the control without bathing a cold spring bath at 25°C had a tendency to decrease the eosinophil counts of the blood in healthy subjects.
