• To measure bite-force without amplification, the conductive elestomer was coverd with nylon meshes. Using this sensor probe, we measured bite-forces of 23 normal subjects and then analyzed these signals by FFT. There was a good relation between bite-forces and measured resistance values upto 784N of biteforce. From the results of the power spectrum analysis, it was found that damping ratio is almost in the same range among the normal subjects despite each individual bit the sensor probe in a slightly different manner. It is concluded that this system is highly promising for measuring bite-force.
