Standard enthalpies of combustion and of sublimation at 298.15 K were determined and standard enthalpies of formation in crystalline and gaseous states were derived for <I>N</I>,<I>N</I>-dimethyl-3- and <I>N</I>,<I>N</I>-dimethyl-4-nitroanilines by calorimetric measurements. Stabilization energies due to the intramolecular interaction between substituents were evaluated and discussed for these compounds and 3- and 4-nitroanilines.
