The values(log<I>K</I><SUB>1</SUB>i and log<I>K</I><SUB>2</SUB> of the complex formations between divalent metal ions and two cyclic dipeptides of this title were determined by Bjerrum's method. It is apparent from <SUP>1</SUP>H NMR data that metal ions link exclusively to the nitrogen atom of the imidazolyl group of cyclo(L-methionyl-L-histidyl).
