The hydrogen bonded system of H<SUB>2</SUB>O–HCl was studied by the CNDO/2 method. Calculation of the potential energy for the system showed that the complex of H<SUB>2</SUB>O–HCl is considerably stable. The equilibrium structure of the complex and its charge distribution were also investigated.
