• The supposed structure, 5-bromo-4,4-dimethyl-2-vinyl-1-cyclohexene, for a brominated monoterpene from <I>Desmia</I> (<I>Chondrococuus</I>) <I>hornemanni</I> was derived from myrcene through a one-step reaction, and the structure was confirmed.
