Fourier transformed infrared absorption spectrum of gaseous ClO<SUB>2</SUB> has been obtained with the resolution of 0.06 cm<SUP>−1</SUP>. The rotational structure of the bending fundamental band (v<SUB>2</SUB>=1←0) was analyzed. Rotational constants determined were in good agreement with previous microwave results. The band center was now fixed at 447.675±0.030 cm<SUP>−1</SUP>, and five centrifugal distortion constants for the v<SUB>2</SUB>=1 state were also newly determined.
