Clinicostatistical observations were made on 406 cases of the patients with lesions in theregion of the cervical vertebrae among those who had visited our clinic during past six years. complaining of pain in the neck-shoulder-arm area, and the results were reported. As one of the means to study the lesion in the region of the cervical vertebae, the author conducted the discography and stated the discographic findings by classifying the affected intervertebral disks into three types.<BR>At the same time the significance of the discography was also discussed. With trained. technic and the smallest injection needle this method has no noticeable impediment and forms a. powerful supplementary diagnostic tool if the findings are correctly judged.
