Three patients with recurrent ulcers of the oral cavity, pharynx and larynx were resistent to various treatments. In the first case, Behcet's disease was suspected. The second case showed elevation of ESR, positive CRP and increase immunoglobulin and γ-globulin. The third case was treated successfully with steroid hormone.These three were thought to have some type of autoimmune disorder. The authors conclude that such patients should be observed carefully in an attempt to clarify the etiology of their disease.
