It is true that an aging society is coming near rapidly in Japan. In order to make it a fruitful and activated one, it is necessary for us to develope automobiles which can support the daily life of the aged people. As an example of them, this paper presents a small-sized passenger car that has extremely low floor panel, 17 cm above ground, and makes it possible for people with wheelchair to get in and out the car easily. This lowered floor panel vehicle is accepted and spreading throughout the Japanese aging society.
