1. The mycelia, cultured on malt extract solution of 5 degrees Balling (pH 6.5) in 7 days at 24°, were transplanted on Czapek's culture medium (pH 6.5) modified the concentration of sucrose and NaNO3 and incubated again for 30 days at 24°. And then they were kept in room temperature of 15_??_18° to urge their fructification. After 20 days they were investigated on their mycelial growth and fructification which were affected by the difference of sucrose/NaNO3 ratio in the medium. 2. Excepting the extreame cases, mycelial growth and fructification were well taken when not only sucrose and NaNO3 were both a little amount, but also the both were aboundant. However when the media were scarce of sucrose and NaNO3 small mushrooms were fructified, and in the contrary when they were aboundant of them they fructified large ones. The optimum C/N ratio to the mycelial growth was 85_??_90, and to the fungous fructification. it was approxmately 300_??_600. 3. As has been shown in the Fig. 6, the high acute curves representing the number of media on which the mushrooms fructified were presented on the pH 6.7_??_6.9, while the unfructified. ones were on the pH 7.3_??_7.6. It is supposed that, pH value for the fungous fructification on such a synthetic medium seemed desirable to be 6.7_??_6.9.
