• The modification of Moores (1951) and Dobbs (1963) methods for the chemical oxygen demand in waste water is described.It develops the advantage of some rapidity of reaction velocity and the smaller quantitative samples and yields equally good or somewhat better results for the various kind of pure organic solution.
