Heterodyne-type apparatus for high frequency analysis has various merits over so-called Dip-meter-type apparatus, although the latter is used generally for high frequency analysis in this country, especially for titration. When the change of frequency in Heterodyne method is the object of estimation, a stable amplification can easily be made and the accuracy is thereby increased. Besides the titration, it has an advantage to be used for analysis based on the change of dielectric constant. The author constructed a high frequency analyzer having merits of Heterodyne-type which can be handled with the simplicity of Dip-meter-type. General titration by this apparatus can be made with the same manipulation as in Dip-meter-type apparatus and highly accurate result is obtained, also, it can be utilized for the other purpose than titration.
