• A fact, that pyloric caeca of cod is capable to convert TMO into FA and DMA under normal condition, has been presented. This transformation of FA or DMA may be carried out by specific enzyme present in the pyloric caeca. A possible occurrence of the precursor to generate TMA other than TMO and of the precursor to form TMO in the pyloric caeca was also suggested.
