金属粉の瞬間抵抗焼結法に関する研究(第1報) : Ni80-Cr20合金の抵抗焼結について

Ni 80-Cr20 mixed powders were heated and sintered in mica lined copper dies by passing a low voltage high amperage current for a short time. The amperage built-up, compact density increase and structure change during the sintering process were studied. The results of experiments are as follows.<BR>(1)Mica lining can be used for the resistance sintering under pressure.<BR>(2)The built up time depends on the voltage, pressure and height of powder in dies.<BR>(3)The apparent density of sintered compacts increases with the product of ampere and cycle.<BR>(4)The area of sample has a large influence on the apparent density of sintered compacts.<BR>(5)When the pressure applied during resistance sintering is not sufficiently high, the apparent density of compacts decreases in the later period of sintering.<BR>(6)The progresses of sintering and diffusion depend on such factors as the sample weight, preliminary compacting pressure, pressure during sintering, sintering time and preliminary sintering.
