• Varidase Buccal Tablet (V.B.T.) was used for the conservative treatment of the paranasal sinusitis and its effect was decided by the clinical symptoms and roentgenologic findings.108 cases was studied in two groups (A and B). In group A, V.B.T. and Achromycin V were used for 6 days initially and then modified displacement method using Alevaire was performed. In group B, V.B.T. and Achromycin V were used for 6 days.Results obtained 6 months later were satisfactory in both groups. Clinical effect in group A was much better than in group B and this difference was blieved to be due to modified displacement method.Much is to be expected by the combined therapy of V.B.T. and modified displacement method for the conservative treatment of the paranasal sinusitis.
