Today, more and more manufacturing companies are struggling to survive under heavy business environment conditions such as up-going YEN/DOLLAR rate and severe business competition.They are going to have the plans to restruct their information systems to ensure their advantages in the business competition.This paper describes:CIMS (Computer Integrated Manufacturing System) is the system to answer their wishes.SFC (Shop Floor Control) is one of the first target systems to start CIMS.Both CIMS and SFC will enhance business speeds and business flexibilities.
