粗飼料:濃厚飼料比が第1胃内における飼料蛋白質の分解に及ぼす影響

Two rumen-fistulated Holstein cows, weighing about 500 kg and 420kg, were fed ration at a maintenance level of 1.3% of body-weight for three months. In the former half of this period, hay and concentrate meal were given in the ratio 5:1 to one cow and 1:5 to another, and the ratio was changed in reverse in the latter half of experiment. When eight feeds of wheat bran, corn gluten feed, soybean meal, linseed meal, rape seed meal, defatted rice bran, corn gluten meal and white fish meal were incubated in the rumen by a nylonbag method, disappearance pattern of crude protein in every feed was hardly affected by change in the roughage: concentrate ratio. No remarkable change was observed in degradation properties indicated by the magnitude of parameters a, b and c, where a is a protein fraction which disappears shortly after the incubation, and b is another protein fraction that is decomposed at a rate c. When outflow rates of liquidphase and solidphase in the rumen were determined by using polyethyleneglycol and soybean meal treated with sodiumdichromate as a marker, respectively, there was a tendency for liquid-phase to have a higher outflow rate than solidphase independently to the roughage : concentrate ratio, and also a trend for both phases to have higher rates in highconcentrate ration than in highroughage ration. However, effective degradability of proteins, which was estimated with constants a, b and c for each feed and the outflow rate of solidphase in the rumen, did not remarkably differ with the different ratio of roughage to concentrate.
